Su Tong Pae Bridge, Mae Hong Son, Thailand

Su Tong Pae Bridge is a bamboo bridge, supported by woods, that was actually built by the villagers of Kung Mai Saak, for the monks to cross over the rice fields from the village to the Buddhist Temple, at the other end. Stretches about 500 meters, it was beautifully structured with simple designs in April 2012. Su Tong Pae is a language of Thai Yai (Thailand people of Burma lineage) which means “successful prayer”. It is a source of pride amongst the local community.

"Many years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did.  So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbour.  Catch the trade winds in your sails...….  Explore the Dreams, Experience to Discover it"
