Cable Car Ride To Sentosa Island, Singapore

As one of the most visited Islands off Singapore’s main Island, Sentosa is accessible by car, bus, monorail, cable car and on foot. During the 70s, we used to ride ferry to the Island. The Ferry services ceased operation in year 2003.

I could not remember, when was the last time I took a cable car ride, most probably in the seventy’s too, to Mount Faber. Mount Faber is one of the popular tourist destinations which is a hill about 94 metres (308 ft) in height. It offers a panoramic view of the Singapore central business district. Its slope contains a tower that connects HarbourFront and Sentosa via the Singapore cable car system. It may be reached via the HarbourFront MRT station.

My youngest son and my wife.

We started the Cable Car ride from HarbourFront Station (Harbourfront Tower 2), to Mount Faber, then from Mount Faber to Sentosa Island (Faber Line).
