Route 1095 is heaven for motorcyclists who love bends and undulating hills and mountainous routes. It is part of the famous Mae Hong Son Loop starting from Chiang Mai – Pai – Mae Hong Son- Mae Sariang – Chiang Mai, covering about 600 km or otherwise.
If you start from Chiang Mai, you either take Route 107 or Route 3009 till you meet Route 1095 to Mae Hong Son, one of Thailand’s most authentic mountainous provinces, where you can experience authentic northern Thai & Shan minority culture. It is also known as 1000 corners to bikers, approximately 1864.
Personally I have experience both loop on motorcycle in 2018 and 2019. Before this, I cycled from Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son using Route 1095 in 2017. It was an experience that unlocked my personal dreams and achievement to ride bicycle and motorcycle. Even though, I have visited 3 times, every visits, gave me different experiences and feels.

Pai is a town in the Mae Hong Soon Province which sits in a valley on the banks of the Pai River. There are many interesting places to visit. Staying a night or two is recommended if you want to relax after hours of travelling.
