Yishun Park was once part of a plantation that belonged to Chye Kay Village, located at present-day Nee Soon East. As a plantation, Yishun Park was planted with fruit trees and rubber trees. When converted into a park, many of the trees were retained. The Park is just a thrown away from my residence, so occasionally, I would just drop-by, taking a short walk or ride a bicycle and just passing through it to enjoy a feel of natures. Living in the northern part of Singapore was in fact a blessings, as this little town is surrounded by natures and histories.

Just google “Yishun” or “history of Yishun”, to know more about the places.
Singapore is such a great place to walk in the evening
