Mount Gayong is the fourth highest mountain in West Malaysia (Peninsula) situated in Perak, standing at 2,173 meters above sea-level. It can be reached in about an hour’s trek from the peak of Mount Korbu, the second highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia. This was an old photo taken in 2005, during which I completed the TransTitiwangsa of 3 Mountains namely Yong Bear, Gayong and Korbu, started in Blue Valley, Cameron Highlands, Pahang and ended in Ulu Kinta, Perak.
