Ko Pha Ngan is an island in southeast Thailand that’s renowned for its monthly Full Moon Party at Haad Rin Beach. Comparing to Ko Samui, apart from the beautiful beaches and blue water, Ko Pha-Ngan has more natural beauty attractions such as waterfalls, mountains and definitely fishing villages. The main town is Thong Sala. Situated about 55km from the Mainland, it has a total area of about 125 km2.

3 Nation Riders – Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand.
Raja Ferry Port, Donsak Pier Suratthani… We paid 360 baht per person with motorcycle for a one-way ferry ride to Koh Phangan. We planned to board the 12 noon ferry but missed by a merely 5 to 10 minutes… Reason was we took the rural and dirt routes to Donsak from Chumphon. Anyway, we enjoyed the routes but have to wait for the next ferry at 2 pm. The ferry journey was approximately 2 hrs 30 mins.

We were informed by the locals that due to the dry season, all the Waterfalls in the island were dried. No fast flowing water nor pools of freshwater. Anyway, we decided to choose one to ensure the claims.

23rd June 2019 – Leaving Ko Pha-Ngan to another unplanned destination …

Eventhough it was a short 3D/2N trip, it was still a memorable ride within the island. The natural beauty was still untouched and well-preserved. The undulating roads and routes were so satisfying, apart from the hospitality of the local people. I will definitely return to spent more time with you…
“Whatever routes you are taking, enjoy the moment… It might leads to beautiful places…..”
